Get to Disneyland® Park early in the morning

The crowds will start lining up at least an hour prior to park opening. Get to the park early if you want to be one of the first inside. They often let people onto Main Street prior to park opening and then set up a rope at the end of Main Street. You can browse on Main Street, get a cup of coffee, peruse the shops until “rope drop”, when everyone takes off running for the big rides.

Character Breakfast

Character Breakfasts are available at Disneyland® Hotel, Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel, Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel, and in both Disneyland® Park and Disney’s California Adventure™ park. The Disneyland® Hotel has very nice grounds to walk around and see – and so does the new Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel, so this is a good opportunity to visit and have breakfast. Reservations can be made in advance for the hotel restaurants…

Leave around lunch time for a rest

The park will hit peak occupancy around lunch time when everyone has finally gotten up and to the park. In the summer, this is also when it starts getting really hot and not fun to stand in a bunch of long lines. Take advantage of this time to go home, take a nap, go swimming and rest up for the evening, when Disneyland® Park really becomes magical!
